Feasibility Studies for Non-Specialists
Project Management|2 days|Classroom or live online
Feasibility Studies for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through lessons learned and project initiation without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because organisations run more projects than they have capacity to govern, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with quality assurance, scope definition and portfolio prioritisation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where quality assurance is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against PRINCE2
- Take ownership of scope definition rather than escalating it
- Make a decision about portfolio prioritisation without waiting for a specialist
- Put stakeholder communication on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
