Financial Due Diligence for Non-Specialists
Finance and Accounting|2 days|Classroom or live online
Financial Due Diligence for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through cash flow forecasting and management accounting without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because boards increasingly expect finance to explain the business, not only report on it, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with capital budgeting, treasury operations and working capital management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review capital budgeting and say plainly whether it is working, measured against IFRS
- Take ownership of treasury operations rather than escalating it
- Spot where working capital management is failing before it becomes a finding
- Put financial instruments on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
