Financial Statement Analysis Reporting and Analytics
Finance and Accounting|3 days|Classroom or live online
Financial Statement Analysis Reporting and Analytics focuses on the measurement layer: what to count, what it means and how to present it. Delegates work through impairment testing and budgeting and variance analysis and the reporting built on top of them. The reporting layer matters because audit findings are now a reputational matter as much as a technical one. Delegates leave able to work confidently with consolidation, financial instruments and revenue recognition in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about consolidation without waiting for a specialist, measured against IFRS for SMEs
- Put financial instruments on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Bring revenue recognition into line with current good practice
- Review management accounting and say plainly whether it is working
