Fundamentals of Analytical Chemistry Practice
Laboratory and Quality Management|2 days|Classroom or live online
Fundamentals of Analytical Chemistry Practice is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through method validation and internal auditing without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with technical record keeping, measurement uncertainty and corrective and preventive action in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review technical record keeping and say plainly whether it is working, measured against ISO 17025
- Take ownership of measurement uncertainty rather than escalating it
- Improve corrective and preventive action within their own organisation
- Put document control on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
