Fundamentals of Brand Communication
Communications and Public Relations|2 days|Classroom or live online
Fundamentals of Brand Communication is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through stakeholder mapping and crisis communication without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because spokespeople are frequently appointed without ever having been trained, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with spokesperson training, reputation measurement and issues management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put spokesperson training on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against recognised crisis communication protocols
- Spot where reputation measurement is failing before it becomes a finding
- Improve issues management within their own organisation
- Take ownership of campaign planning rather than escalating it
