Fundamentals of Business Continuity

Risk and Compliance|2 days|Classroom or live online

Fundamentals of Business Continuity is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through third party risk and risk identification without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because compliance obligations have multiplied faster than compliance capacity, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with risk appetite and tolerance, risk assessment methodology and crisis management in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Spot where risk appetite and tolerance is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against the Basel framework
  • Put risk assessment methodology on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
  • Improve crisis management within their own organisation
  • Make a decision about compliance monitoring without waiting for a specialist
