Fundamentals of Energy Efficiency Management
Electrical and Power Engineering|2 days|Classroom or live online
Fundamentals of Energy Efficiency Management is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through condition monitoring and variable speed drives without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with substation operation, lockout and tagout and electrical safety procedure in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review substation operation and say plainly whether it is working, measured against IEC standards
- Bring lockout and tagout into line with current good practice
- Improve electrical safety procedure within their own organisation
- Make a decision about transformer maintenance without waiting for a specialist
