Fundamentals of Good Laboratory Practice
Laboratory and Quality Management|2 days|Classroom or live online
Fundamentals of Good Laboratory Practice is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through proficiency testing and reagent management without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because quality managers are often appointed from the bench without management training, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with measurement uncertainty, accreditation preparation and technical record keeping in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain measurement uncertainty to someone who does not do the work, measured against ISO 17025
- Put accreditation preparation on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Spot where technical record keeping is failing before it becomes a finding
- Improve internal auditing within their own organisation
