Fundamentals of Project Scope Management
Project Management|2 days|Classroom or live online
Fundamentals of Project Scope Management is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through project closure and earned value management without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because the coordination layer is usually the least trained and the most load bearing, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with quality assurance, risk registers and lessons learned in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring quality assurance into line with current good practice, measured against the PMBOK guide
- Put risk registers on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Spot where lessons learned is failing before it becomes a finding
- Review portfolio prioritisation and say plainly whether it is working
