Fundamentals of Quality Management Systems
Laboratory and Quality Management|2 days|Classroom or live online
Fundamentals of Quality Management Systems is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through laboratory design and reagent management without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because quality managers are often appointed from the bench without management training, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with sample handling and chain of custody, root cause analysis and supplier qualification in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review sample handling and chain of custody and say plainly whether it is working, measured against ISO 17025
- Explain root cause analysis to someone who does not do the work
- Spot where supplier qualification is failing before it becomes a finding
- Put method validation on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
