Good Laboratory Practice for Non-Specialists
Laboratory and Quality Management|2 days|Classroom or live online
Good Laboratory Practice for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through method validation and internal auditing without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with equipment calibration, technical record keeping and reagent management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain equipment calibration to someone who does not do the work, measured against good laboratory practice
- Spot where technical record keeping is failing before it becomes a finding
- Put reagent management on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Improve corrective and preventive action within their own organisation
