Grant and Donor Reporting for Non-Specialists

Finance and Accounting|2 days|Classroom or live online

Grant and Donor Reporting for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through financial statement preparation and management accounting without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because boards increasingly expect finance to explain the business, not only report on it, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with audit readiness, internal controls and cost allocation in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Put audit readiness on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against IFRS
  • Review internal controls and say plainly whether it is working
  • Bring cost allocation into line with current good practice
  • Improve cash flow forecasting within their own organisation
