High Voltage Operation Reporting and Analytics
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
High Voltage Operation Reporting and Analytics focuses on the measurement layer: what to count, what it means and how to present it. Delegates work through standby generation and condition monitoring and the reporting built on top of them. The reporting layer matters because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for. Delegates leave able to work confidently with substation operation, protection relays and earthing and bonding in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain substation operation to someone who does not do the work, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Make a decision about protection relays without waiting for a specialist
- Put earthing and bonding on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Bring variable speed drives into line with current good practice
