Incident Investigation for Managers

3 days|Delivered on request

This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers waste management and safety auditing from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with permit to work systems, emergency preparedness and working at height in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Spot where permit to work systems is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against ISO 14001
  • Improve emergency preparedness within their own organisation
  • Explain working at height to someone who does not do the work
  • Put environmental impact assessment on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
