Intergovernmental Relations Reporting and Analytics
Public Sector and Municipal Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
Intergovernmental Relations Reporting and Analytics focuses on the measurement layer: what to count, what it means and how to present it. Delegates work through service delivery planning and council procedure and the reporting built on top of them. The reporting layer matters because service delivery failures usually trace back to planning rather than to budget. Delegates leave able to work confidently with consequence management, performance management in government and supply chain compliance in government in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review consequence management and say plainly whether it is working, measured against the PFMA
- Take ownership of performance management in government rather than escalating it
- Bring supply chain compliance in government into line with current good practice
- Spot where revenue management is failing before it becomes a finding
