Job Evaluation for Non-Specialists
Human Resources|2 days|Classroom or live online
Job Evaluation for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through employee wellness and remuneration and benefits without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because organisations are being asked to prove the return on their people spend, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with talent acquisition, employee relations and skills development planning in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put talent acquisition on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against the Employment Equity Act
- Review employee relations and say plainly whether it is working
- Bring skills development planning into line with current good practice
- Spot where job evaluation and grading is failing before it becomes a finding
