Laboratory Accreditation for Managers
Laboratory and Quality Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers method validation and document control from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with corrective and preventive action, laboratory design and sample handling and chain of custody in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain corrective and preventive action to someone who does not do the work, measured against ISO 17025
- Make a decision about laboratory design without waiting for a specialist
- Improve sample handling and chain of custody within their own organisation
- Put internal auditing on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
