Laboratory Accreditation: Tools and Techniques
Laboratory and Quality Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through technical record keeping and measurement uncertainty on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with equipment calibration, laboratory safety and document control in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve equipment calibration within their own organisation, measured against ISO 17025
- Explain laboratory safety to someone who does not do the work
- Put document control on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Bring root cause analysis into line with current good practice
