Laboratory Internal Auditing: Tools and Techniques
Laboratory and Quality Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through accreditation preparation and root cause analysis on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with reagent management, technical record keeping and equipment calibration in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring reagent management into line with current good practice, measured against ISO 17025
- Review technical record keeping and say plainly whether it is working
- Explain equipment calibration to someone who does not do the work
- Make a decision about method validation without waiting for a specialist
