Laboratory Quality Management for Non-Specialists
Laboratory and Quality Management|2 days|Classroom or live online
Laboratory Quality Management for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through laboratory design and accreditation preparation without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because quality managers are often appointed from the bench without management training, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with root cause analysis, measurement uncertainty and reagent management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain root cause analysis to someone who does not do the work, measured against ISO 9001
- Make a decision about measurement uncertainty without waiting for a specialist
- Put reagent management on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Improve method validation within their own organisation
