Leading Bid Committee Procedure Teams
Public Sector and Municipal Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers audit action planning and consequence management from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because audit outcomes have become the dominant measure of municipal performance, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with integrated development planning, records management and public participation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put integrated development planning on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against the PFMA
- Bring records management into line with current good practice
- Explain public participation to someone who does not do the work
- Spot where ethics in the public service is failing before it becomes a finding
