Leading Laboratory Information Management Teams
Laboratory and Quality Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers method validation and document control from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because quality managers are often appointed from the bench without management training, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with technical record keeping, supplier qualification and sample handling and chain of custody in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring technical record keeping into line with current good practice, measured against ISO 17025
- Explain supplier qualification to someone who does not do the work
- Review sample handling and chain of custody and say plainly whether it is working
- Spot where accreditation preparation is failing before it becomes a finding
