Leading Motor Control Centres Teams
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers transformer maintenance and electrical fault analysis from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because electrical incidents are among the few workplace risks that are immediately fatal, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with standby generation, load flow analysis and arc flash assessment in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring standby generation into line with current good practice, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Improve load flow analysis within their own organisation
- Take ownership of arc flash assessment rather than escalating it
- Spot where lockout and tagout is failing before it becomes a finding
