Leading Working at Height Teams
3 days|Delivered on request
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers confined space entry and risk assessment from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because safety systems are often documented to a standard that daily practice does not match, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with legal appointments and duties, toolbox talks and hazard identification in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain legal appointments and duties to someone who does not do the work, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Spot where toolbox talks is failing before it becomes a finding
- Bring hazard identification into line with current good practice
- Take ownership of safety management systems rather than escalating it
