Management Accounting Reporting and Analytics
Finance and Accounting|3 days|Classroom or live online
Management Accounting Reporting and Analytics focuses on the measurement layer: what to count, what it means and how to present it. Delegates work through financial modelling and revenue recognition and the reporting built on top of them. The reporting layer matters because reporting standards keep moving and finance teams carry the consequence of getting them wrong. Delegates leave able to work confidently with cost allocation, management accounting and capital budgeting in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put cost allocation on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against GRAP for public entities
- Explain management accounting to someone who does not do the work
- Review capital budgeting and say plainly whether it is working
- Make a decision about impairment testing without waiting for a specialist
