Managing Feasibility Studies

Project Management|3 days|Classroom or live online

This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers stakeholder communication and project initiation from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because most project failure is visible in the schedule long before it is admitted in the status report, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with scope definition, earned value management and resource planning in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Put scope definition on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against the PMBOK guide
  • Explain earned value management to someone who does not do the work
  • Spot where resource planning is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Improve benefits realisation within their own organisation
