Managing Good Laboratory Practice
Laboratory and Quality Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers root cause analysis and document control from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because quality managers are often appointed from the bench without management training, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with measurement uncertainty, quality management systems and method validation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about measurement uncertainty without waiting for a specialist, measured against good laboratory practice
- Bring quality management systems into line with current good practice
- Improve method validation within their own organisation
- Take ownership of equipment calibration rather than escalating it
