Managing Grant and Donor Reporting

Finance and Accounting|3 days|Classroom or live online

This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers capital budgeting and consolidation from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because audit findings are now a reputational matter as much as a technical one, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with cost allocation, working capital management and financial instruments in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Spot where cost allocation is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against GRAP for public entities
  • Make a decision about working capital management without waiting for a specialist
  • Take ownership of financial instruments rather than escalating it
  • Put cash flow forecasting on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
