Managing Insurance and Risk Transfer
Risk and Compliance|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers regulatory reporting and risk identification from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because compliance obligations have multiplied faster than compliance capacity, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with combined assurance, risk appetite and tolerance and crisis management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review combined assurance and say plainly whether it is working, measured against the three lines model
- Bring risk appetite and tolerance into line with current good practice
- Take ownership of crisis management rather than escalating it
- Explain compliance monitoring to someone who does not do the work
