Managing Laboratory Accreditation
Laboratory and Quality Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers corrective and preventive action and accreditation preparation from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because method validation is frequently treated as paperwork rather than as evidence, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with laboratory design, equipment calibration and sample handling and chain of custody in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of laboratory design rather than escalating it, measured against ISO 9001
- Review equipment calibration and say plainly whether it is working
- Improve sample handling and chain of custody within their own organisation
- Spot where internal auditing is failing before it becomes a finding
