Managing Succession Planning
Human Resources|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers succession planning and employment equity reporting from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because workforce planning has moved from an administrative task to a board level concern, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with job evaluation and grading, performance management and talent acquisition in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of job evaluation and grading rather than escalating it, measured against the SABPP competency model
- Improve performance management within their own organisation
- Explain talent acquisition to someone who does not do the work
- Review employee wellness and say plainly whether it is working
