Managing Third Party Risk

Risk and Compliance|3 days|Classroom or live online

This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers risk identification and risk appetite and tolerance from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because boards are being asked to evidence oversight, not merely assert it, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with key risk indicators, compliance monitoring and crisis management in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Put key risk indicators on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against the Basel framework
  • Review compliance monitoring and say plainly whether it is working
  • Bring crisis management into line with current good practice
  • Spot where regulatory reporting is failing before it becomes a finding
