Method Validation for Managers
Laboratory and Quality Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers root cause analysis and technical record keeping from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because method validation is frequently treated as paperwork rather than as evidence, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with quality management systems, laboratory safety and non-conformance management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about quality management systems without waiting for a specialist, measured against ISO 17025
- Explain laboratory safety to someone who does not do the work
- Spot where non-conformance management is failing before it becomes a finding
- Take ownership of corrective and preventive action rather than escalating it
