Microbiological Testing Auditing and Assurance

3 days|Delivered on request

This programme is written from the assurance side. Delegates learn to test whether supplier qualification and corrective and preventive action are working as claimed, and how to evidence the conclusion. Assurance work is under scrutiny because method validation is frequently treated as paperwork rather than as evidence. Delegates leave able to work confidently with method validation, reagent management and equipment calibration in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Explain method validation to someone who does not do the work, measured against ISO 17025
  • Take ownership of reagent management rather than escalating it
  • Review equipment calibration and say plainly whether it is working
  • Make a decision about measurement uncertainty without waiting for a specialist
