Microbiological Testing: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through corrective and preventive action and technical record keeping on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with sample handling and chain of custody, laboratory safety and equipment calibration in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review sample handling and chain of custody and say plainly whether it is working, measured against SANAS accreditation requirements
- Bring laboratory safety into line with current good practice
- Put equipment calibration on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Explain non-conformance management to someone who does not do the work
