Monitoring and Evaluation for Non-Specialists
Project Management|2 days|Classroom or live online
Monitoring and Evaluation for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through change control and scheduling without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because most project failure is visible in the schedule long before it is admitted in the status report, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with project reporting, quality assurance and risk registers in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put project reporting on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against PRINCE2
- Improve quality assurance within their own organisation
- Spot where risk registers is failing before it becomes a finding
- Take ownership of lessons learned rather than escalating it
