Motor Control Centres Reporting and Analytics
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
Motor Control Centres Reporting and Analytics focuses on the measurement layer: what to count, what it means and how to present it. Delegates work through load flow analysis and insulation testing and the reporting built on top of them. The reporting layer matters because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for. Delegates leave able to work confidently with standby generation, lockout and tagout and switchgear maintenance in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring standby generation into line with current good practice, measured against the SANS wiring code
- Put lockout and tagout on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Review switchgear maintenance and say plainly whether it is working
- Spot where motor control centres is failing before it becomes a finding
