Municipal Asset Management Reporting and Analytics
Public Sector and Municipal Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
Municipal Asset Management Reporting and Analytics focuses on the measurement layer: what to count, what it means and how to present it. Delegates work through ethics in the public service and public participation and the reporting built on top of them. The reporting layer matters because service delivery failures usually trace back to planning rather than to budget. Delegates leave able to work confidently with consequence management, irregular expenditure and council procedure in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve consequence management within their own organisation, measured against the Batho Pele principles
- Review irregular expenditure and say plainly whether it is working
- Spot where council procedure is failing before it becomes a finding
- Make a decision about revenue management without waiting for a specialist
