Non Conformance Management for Managers
Laboratory and Quality Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers internal auditing and corrective and preventive action from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with document control, sample handling and chain of custody and equipment calibration in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where document control is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against good laboratory practice
- Bring sample handling and chain of custody into line with current good practice
- Make a decision about equipment calibration without waiting for a specialist
- Take ownership of laboratory design rather than escalating it
