Occupational Hygiene Auditing and Assurance

3 days|Delivered on request

This programme is written from the assurance side. Delegates learn to test whether safety auditing and confined space entry are working as claimed, and how to evidence the conclusion. Assurance work is under scrutiny because incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause. Delegates leave able to work confidently with safety culture, hazard identification and safety management systems in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Spot where safety culture is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Review hazard identification and say plainly whether it is working
  • Explain safety management systems to someone who does not do the work
  • Put emergency preparedness on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
