Occupational Hygiene for Managers
3 days|Delivered on request
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers safety culture and confined space entry from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with incident investigation, hazard identification and occupational hygiene in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain incident investigation to someone who does not do the work, measured against the Construction Regulations
- Put hazard identification on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Improve occupational hygiene within their own organisation
- Review risk assessment and say plainly whether it is working
