Payroll Management for Non-Specialists
Finance and Accounting|2 days|Classroom or live online
Payroll Management for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through fraud detection and revenue recognition without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because boards increasingly expect finance to explain the business, not only report on it, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with internal controls, impairment testing and working capital management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve internal controls within their own organisation, measured against GRAP for public entities
- Spot where impairment testing is failing before it becomes a finding
- Review working capital management and say plainly whether it is working
- Take ownership of budgeting and variance analysis rather than escalating it
