Portfolio Management Reporting and Analytics
Project Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
Portfolio Management Reporting and Analytics focuses on the measurement layer: what to count, what it means and how to present it. Delegates work through cost estimation and lessons learned and the reporting built on top of them. The reporting layer matters because the coordination layer is usually the least trained and the most load bearing. Delegates leave able to work confidently with scheduling, project closure and critical path analysis in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put scheduling on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against the PMBOK guide
- Explain project closure to someone who does not do the work
- Review critical path analysis and say plainly whether it is working
- Spot where earned value management is failing before it becomes a finding
