Power Factor Correction Reporting and Analytics
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
Power Factor Correction Reporting and Analytics focuses on the measurement layer: what to count, what it means and how to present it. Delegates work through motor control centres and cable fault location and the reporting built on top of them. The reporting layer matters because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission. Delegates leave able to work confidently with earthing and bonding, load flow analysis and protection relays in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring earthing and bonding into line with current good practice, measured against the SANS wiring code
- Take ownership of load flow analysis rather than escalating it
- Explain protection relays to someone who does not do the work
- Put condition monitoring on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
