Practical Business Valuation
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through cost allocation and consolidation on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: reporting standards keep moving and finance teams carry the consequence of getting them wrong, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with financial modelling, financial statement preparation and cash flow forecasting in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review financial modelling and say plainly whether it is working, measured against GRAP for public entities
- Take ownership of financial statement preparation rather than escalating it
- Put cash flow forecasting on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Bring working capital management into line with current good practice
