Practical Campaign Planning
Communications and Public Relations|3 days|Classroom or live online
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through spokesperson training and investor communication on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: internal communication failures surface later as engagement and retention problems, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with press release writing, community engagement and interview technique in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about press release writing without waiting for a specialist, measured against recognised crisis communication protocols
- Review community engagement and say plainly whether it is working
- Put interview technique on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Bring social media strategy into line with current good practice
