Practical Community Development Planning
Public Sector and Municipal Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through public finance management and irregular expenditure on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: officials are held personally accountable under legislation many have never been trained on, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with intergovernmental relations, consequence management and annual reporting in their own organisation.
