Practical Ergonomics in the Workplace

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through environmental impact assessment and incident investigation on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with working at height, safety culture and hazard identification in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Take ownership of working at height rather than escalating it, measured against ISO 45001
  • Make a decision about safety culture without waiting for a specialist
  • Spot where hazard identification is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Explain safety auditing to someone who does not do the work
