Practical Financial Reporting
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through cash flow forecasting and internal controls on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: audit findings are now a reputational matter as much as a technical one, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with fraud detection, capital budgeting and working capital management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain fraud detection to someone who does not do the work, measured against GRAP for public entities
- Take ownership of capital budgeting rather than escalating it
- Put working capital management on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Bring revenue recognition into line with current good practice
