Practical Fire Safety Management

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through legal appointments and duties and safety culture on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: safety systems are often documented to a standard that daily practice does not match, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with hazard identification, emergency preparedness and working at height in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Make a decision about hazard identification without waiting for a specialist, measured against ISO 45001
  • Review emergency preparedness and say plainly whether it is working
  • Spot where working at height is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Improve safety management systems within their own organisation
